Crooked Rot
This is Crooked Rot, a very popular claymation cartoon by David Firth. It makes literally no sense at all, but somehow manages to mess with your head, scare the hell out of you, and send shivers down you spine every time you watch it. Sometimes watching this, I can't tell weather to laugh or cry because I can't realize what emotions I'm experiencing, or SUPPOSED to be experiencing while watching this sinister looking cartoon.
A Black and White Cartoon about Roof Tiling
This is Johnathan, a character from David Firth's original cartoon A Black and White Cartoon about Roof Tiling. A very depressing short about a man who obviously has very deep mental issues.
Salad Fingers
A crudely drawn green wastelander who survived a massive nuclear war and has mutated long green fingers that act as feelers. His/Her gender is always unidentified, which leaves you guessing throughout its adventures. It is very obvious that severe mental trauma has left a mark on Salad Finger's brain, which poses quite a problem for it as it tries to live life. Its a rough life for a well mannered green mutant in a post nuclear war wasteland.
A scary side of animation
David Firth, a hero among animators. A valiant success story that started with some crudely drawn creepy characters and the internet. He can single-handedly make a computer animated visual place you in a nightmare-like realm and literally scare the hell out of you. The sketches above are from an unfinished project that Firth has started in his spare time. You might recognize some of his more popular works, such as Salad Fingers, The Spoilsbury Toast Boy, Sock, Dog of Man, or Crooked Rot(claymation). Salad Fingers, however, is his most popular creation. He started by creating the first episode of the green creeper and uploading it on Newgrounds.com. It gained popularity very quickly and almost over night became a huge hit. Firth soon became a internet celebrity with his biggest audience on Youtube.com.
